Child Safety Standards
Contents
1. Our zero-tolerance policy against CSAE
Capsly operates a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The following content and behaviors are strictly prohibited on our platform:
- Any image, video, text, or audio content that sexually abuses, exploits, or endangers minors
- Sexually explicit depictions of children (real, drawn, animated, or AI-generated)
- Grooming, sexually motivated contact attempts, or solicitation of minors
- Trading, soliciting, sharing, or promoting child abuse material
- Any conduct facilitating minors' access to adult content
Any account violating this policy is permanently suspended without warning, the content is removed immediately, and the matter is reported to the relevant authorities.
2. Age requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use Capsly. Users under 18 must have parental or legal guardian consent to use the service. Accounts that do not meet the age requirement are closed when detected. See our Terms of Use for details.
3. User reporting mechanism
Every user can report any child-safety concern from within the app or via email:
- In-app reporting: Use the "⋯" menu → "Report" option next to any video, profile, or comment. Report reasons include a "Child safety / harm to minors" category.
- Email reporting: support@capsly.app — using the subject "Child Safety Report" expedites review.
- Response time: CSAE-related reports are reviewed on a priority basis within 24 hours; other child-safety reports are evaluated within 72 hours at the latest.
The identity of reporters is kept confidential. No adverse action is taken against users for good-faith reports.
4. Content moderation
Capsly applies the following multi-layered moderation processes:
- Automated scanning: All uploaded video and image content is passed through automated tools for known CSAM matching and suspicious-content detection.
- Human review: Suspicious or reported material is manually reviewed by our trained moderation team.
- Pre-publish buffer: On Capsly, videos remain locked until their publish time; automated review runs during this window.
- Enforcement: Violating content is removed immediately, the account is closed, and device/network-level re-registration controls are applied where necessary.
5. Cooperation with authorities
Every detected or reported instance of CSAM is reported to the relevant authorities under applicable law. In this scope:
- Reports are filed with the U.S.-based NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) CyberTipline where appropriate.
- In Türkiye, lawful information sharing is conducted with the BTK (Information and Communication Technologies Authority) and the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor.
- When responding to legal requests, user data is shared only via valid legal process (court order, prosecutor's request, etc.).
6. Designated point of contact
Capsly's designated contact for child safety and CSAE matters is always informed and ready to respond:
- Email: support@capsly.app
- Subject line: "Child Safety / Çocuk Güvenliği"
- Response time: within 24 hours for urgent CSAE reports
